Dr. Kimberly Garvey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Lewis University in Romeoville, where she competed on the women’s volleyball team and graduated with academic honors. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry in 2015, where she graduated Cum Laude. While in school, she was elected to join the Tomb and Key Honor Society, as well as the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society.
Dr. Garvey has completed clinical rotations at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Healthcare Center in North Chicago, University of Kentucky Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Hellerstein and Brenner Vision Therapy Specialist in Greenwood Village, Colorado and the Illinois Eye Institute, where she received extensive training in glaucoma management, contact lenses, dry eye, and ocular disease. As a primary eye care doctor, she enjoys seeing patients of all ages to solve their complex visual needs.
