Your eye exam may be covered by vision and/or medical insurance. Vision insurance is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear, and other vision-related services at a reduced cost. Regular medical health insurance plans sometimes have routine eye care coverage but always cover problem-related eye exams for issues such as eye strain, eye turn/lazy eye, dry eye, allergies, keratoconus, floaters, diabetes, high blood pressure, eye injuries, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration to name a few.

The cost of prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. With this in mind, we have special lens package pricing for patients who have no insurance or patients who need multiple pairs of eyewear. These lens packages can lower annual eyewear expenses without any compromise to the quality of eyewear.
