Dr. Lavender Streiff

Dr. Lavender Streiff graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry. She completed her Optometric Residency in Primary Care (Ocular Disease, Low Vision, and Contact Lens Concentrations) at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Streiff is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Streiff is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the Illinois Optometric Association.

You may have noticed or heard that Dr. Streiff’s hours have been reduced. She will be living in central Wisconsin for the next few years with her active duty Army husband and her daughters. Since she is commuting back to see patients, her schedule has been reduced. Dr. Streiff plans to be accessible for patients that prefer to see her but is fully supportive of the other doctors in the practice who are wonderful and more than qualified to see her patients. After several more years of potential travel, Dr. Streiff and her family plan to settle back in Chicagoland and her schedule will be expanded. Until then, we appreciate your patience and flexibility.

Our practice has been working hard on making sure your next visit to our practice is as safe and relaxing as possible. Please be aware we are asking all patients to wear masks during their exams. Please call us to schedule your next appointment and to learn more about our new health and safety protocols.
